MINI COMPANY

Mini Company is a select group of talented younger dancers chosen through audition to represent Studio VIA - School Of Dance at competitions and conventions.  Mini Company was created to instill strong values in younger dancers to help prepare them for our higher company levels.  Dancers focus on developing a strong work ethic in rehearsal, understanding the importance of precision, creating focused training habits and implementing at home practice.  We feel very strongly to teach these important values early to give younger dancers the tools to develop into stronger performers and teammates.  The Mini Company consistently wows audiences with their energetic and stylish routines.  A higher level of focus and commitment is expected of these dancers to maintain excellence.  We believe that the relationships developed with faculty and peers through dance are unmatched by other sport disciplines.

MINI COMPANY CLASS SCHEUDLE

• Two 90-minute classes per week

MINI COMPANY INVOLVES:

• Choosing dance as a priority

• Attendance to 3 competitions and 1 convention

• Attendance to Studio VIA Summer Intensive

• Attendance to Studio VIA Year End Recital

• Attendance to the Year End Gala Event

MINI COMPANY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Dancers will perform 3 competition group routines in jazz, lyrical and tap dance.

• Required to be at the studio two days per week taking classes in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical and contemporary.

• Approximate minimum company cost:

• Additional training classes are offered at added cost and increased time commitment

• Additional competitive performances (Solo, duet, trio) are offered at added cost and increased time commitment
